Patient enabling (Internship)

ELCA Informatik AG  Lausanne

Patients no longer want to be an observer but play an active role during their treatment / therapy. On the premise that most people own a mobile device, patients and care teams are provided with a dedicated app to provide feedback and to record treatment-related data, such as medication, drug compliance, care information, etc.

The goal of this internship it the development of a mobile app (iPad) that allows the recording and monitoring of treatment-related data. Collected data is contextualised and drug compliance is ensured, thus avoiding unnecessary consultations whilst receiving medical feedback.

Connecting and integrating the app with the Swiss electronic patient record (EPD) and relevant data sources, such as sensors, play also an important part.

  • Software engineering incl. mobile development skills.
  • Interest in E-Health data and processes, as well as conceptual work.
  • Openness regarding technologies as the implementation stack must be defined during the design phase
  • Knowledge of the Swiss electronic patient record (EPD), English required.

Join our team as intern and you will find a young, dynamic and culturally diverse working environment.

If you are INTERESTED in applying for this position, please send us your complete application (CV, cover letter, letter of reference, diplomas and certificates).
