A Sales Support Manager oversees the administrative and logistical aspects of a sales team's operations, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to achieve their goals. This role involves coordinating sales activities, analysing sales data, and contributing to the overall sales strategy. The Sales Support Manager is a member of a Sales Team and is responsible for management and coordination of the sales support processes, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring efficient sales operations. The role involves process improvement, coordination with sales experts and teams, and managing their and customer inquiries and issues. This position requires, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment. The Sales Support Manager will collaborate closely with the other internal teams, including Product Management, Service Delivery team and Comfone Executive Management Team.
Your responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the sales support processes
- Ensure smooth and efficient sales processes, administrate the sales contracts and ensure work accuracy
- Liaise between the Sales Team members and customers to handle inquiries and issues
- Track sales performance and provide actionable insights (sales performance report on the monthly basis)
- Develop and implement process improvements
- Manage and coordinate the customer RFQ projects in collaboration with responsible Sales Account Manager, Marketing Manager, Product Manager or VP Business development and Legal Expert
- Work with the customer RFQ / RFI on-line tools, upon customer request
- Manage sales related functions of the ERP / CRM systems
- Maintain up-to-date Tender and Master Sales template documents
- Create the cover letters, POs, simple offers and addendums
- Coordinate with other departments to support sales initiatives
- Constantly improve sales support management skills
Your ideal profile
- Completed vocational training (Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence - EFZ) or Higher Degree in Telecommunications, Economics, Management, Business Administration or a related field
- 3-6 years of experience in sales support, roaming management / co-ordination, sales, project management or a similar role at mobile operator or service provider side
- Proven project management skills
- Excellent Presentation Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyse data and provide strategic insights
- Customer-focused and detail-oriented mindset
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Teams
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
