Medical Device Development Engineer m/f/d, ZugAs an Instrument Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring a harmonious integration of hardware and software components to ensure optimal functionality of the instrument. They accompany the entire life cycle of the instrument - from the concept phase to development and validation to market launch and maintenance. In this position, you will make a significant contribution to ensuring that all system components work together smoothly and use your expertise to ensure that the end product meets the highest quality and performance standards. Their work forms the basis for the successful realization of modern diagnostic and analytical instruments, which are indispensable in a wide range of applications and industries.

Responsibilities: - Ensure seamless cooperation between hardware and software components, driving integration activities throughout the entire lifecycle of the instrument
- Independently or with minimal support, plan, execute, and document integration activities such as feasibility studies, testing, and troubleshooting
- Develop and verify test methods for instrument testing, maintain and execute complex test cases, and ensure rigorous testing of instrument functionality
- Support and execute troubleshooting and root cause analysis for instrument issues
- Apply statistical methods and data analysis using software tools to evaluate test results, identify trends and correlations, interpret findings, and generate reports that inform decision-making
- Act as the technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Represent projects in internal meetings and collaborate with R&D teams to share domain knowledge and ensure alignment with project goals
- Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration, bringing fresh ideas to the table, encouraging innovation, and supporting continuous improvement
Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or technical field, especially in the fields of: biotechnology, biomedical engineering
- Good understanding of systems engineering and its application in instrument development
- Initial professional experience in the field of medical device development
- Initial professional experience in data analysis, evaluation and the application of statistical methods is an advantage
- Affinity for data-related work
- IT/ Tool-Kenntnisse: MS Office / Google Workspace
- Fluent in English and German
