Mechanical Engineer to join the Product Care team and contribute to innovative diagnostic solutions that support the healthcare system. Location: Rotkreuz, Switzerland
Start Date: ASAP (latest 01.01.2026)
Contract Duration: 12 months (extension very likely)
Workload: 80-100%
Work Model: Hybrid (up to 20% home office)
Languages: German (C1), English (B2) Responsibilities - Independently work on mechanical assemblies and projects within product care activities.
- Prepare and review technical specifications and documentation updates.
- Conduct root cause analyses and present redesigns to product managers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Production, Suppliers, Quality, and Regulatory.
- Support external partners and manage document migration into ERP systems.
- Apply expertise in modifications, extensions, and improvements of modules and devices.
- Ensure compliance with technical regulations and drawing guidelines.
Must-Haves - Completed apprenticeship as a design engineer, plus further training at university, university of applied sciences, or higher education in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a design/machine engineer in medical technology, diagnostics, building technology, or GxP-regulated environments.
- Proven experience in product care or project development.
- Solid knowledge of CATIA V5 and SAP PLM.
- Proficiency with ISO 8015 drawing guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in complex product environments.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Language skills: German C1 and English B2.
