Senior Procurement Specialist with proven experience in
business carve-outs, divestments, and indirect procurement.
This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives on
strategic sourcing, complex project environments, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless transitions during carve-out activities, optimizing spend while supporting strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities - Carve-out Management: Lead and support procurement activities related to business carve-outs and divestments, including due diligence, planning, and execution.
- Vendor & Contract Management: Build strong vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Strategic Sourcing: Identify and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability to drive value and efficiency.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze spend, identify savings opportunities, and implement improvement strategies.
- Risk Mitigation: Monitor supplier, contractual, and compliance risks, ensuring business continuity and alignment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with departments such as IT, Finance, Legal, and Quality to support organizational goals.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop KPIs, track performance, and provide actionable procurement insights.
- Policy Development: Support the creation and implementation of procurement standards and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience - Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's or certifications such as CIPS/CPSM preferred).
- Experience: 7-10 years in indirect procurement with 3-5 years focused on carve-outs or divestments.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management expertise.
- Experience in procurement within a CDMO or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
- Technical Proficiency: MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), ERP/procurement systems.
