The Materials Management Organization is a cornerstone of our clients Production Site in Kaiseraugst including the management of production planning, detailed scheduling, materials planning and master data. As a Material Planner (m/f/d) you are playing a crucial role in our Planning Community and the site in general to ensure reliable and robust supply. In this role, you will plan and manage a broad portfolio of primary, secondary and/or tertiary packaging materials, process aids and excipients, ensuring continuous availability towards an optimized production schedule for Sterile and Packaging Manufacturing operations.
Start Date: July/Aug/Sep 2026
End Date: 12-month contract (with a strong chance of extension)
Workload: 80-100%
Location: Kaiseraugst, with max. 50% homeoffice per week
Workmodel: Contracting
Your responsibilies - Ensuring that our manufacturing units are adequately supplied with direct materials such as packaging materials, process aid and production-supporting auxiliary materials
- Inventory management and definition of risk mitigation actions - as well as defining and implementing measures for efficient processes (management of safety stocks, process optimisation, risk analysis)
- Point of contact for all related suppliers regarding deliveries and tracking of purchase orders
- Maintain effective communication among all business partners (e.g. Manufacturing Units, Procurement, External Suppliers, Master
- Production Scheduler, Detailed Schedulers, Quality, Warehouse, Logistics, etc.)
- Actively drive continuous improvement processes, challenge/question the status quo and collaborate on projects within Materials
- Management in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
Your Profil: - Supply chain professional with experience in procurement, planning and/or purchasing
- Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple topics and commitments, understanding the impact your role is driving, anticipating operational issues, focusing on details when needed and recommending solutions
- Demonstrated abilities to think through the process, considering upstream and downstream stakeholders and using the process effectively to achieve results
- Taking the initiative, embrace new opportunities, convey sense of urgency and are not afraid to take over or lead new responsibilities and/or challenges
- Excellent communications skills in English and German and the ability to effectively communicate and influence across all levels of the organization
- Self-directed individual with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with a passion for teamwork and continuous improvement
