Data Platform Engineer - Azure Databricks (Unity Catalog).Your Responsibilities: - Implement and optimize the use of Unity Catalog for data governance and management within the Azure Databricks environment
- Support the initial setup, configuration, and integration of Unity Catalog with Azure services such as ADLS, Key Vault, and ADF, including in a hub-and-spoke architecture
- Collaborate closely with the internal IT platform engineering team to ensure seamless technical integration
- Analyze platform usage patterns and define best practices for Unity Catalog in line with governance, security, and compliance standards
- Produce high-quality documentation, including architecture decisions, configuration procedures, and operational guidelines
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the data platform's reliability, scalability, and efficiency through innovative technologies and methods
Your Profile: - Proven hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, specifically Unity Catalog
- Strong understanding of Azure data services and cloud architecture
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance requirements within the financial services sector
- Excellent technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
