QC Project Lead m/f/d, Basel-Stadt As part of the
Analytical Development Synthetic Molecules organization, the QC section plays a key role in the GMP-compliant release testing of raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and drug products for clinical and commercial supply.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
QC Analytical Scientist to join a collaborative analytical development environment and support quality control activities in compliance with cGMP standards.
Your Tasks: - Perform analytical testing and quality control activities in compliance with cGMP regulations
- Provide analytical support for supply plants related to APIs and drug products for clinical use
- Collaborate with internal and external partners within Analytical Development
- Participate actively in optimizing and shaping analytical workflows and laboratory processes
- Critically evaluate analytical data and ensure scientific integrity of results
- Support cross-functional laboratory and project activities, including:
- Reference standard management
- CSV/business process ownership for analytical applications
- Ensure compliance with Roche policies related to safety, health, environment, and GMP standards
- Maintain accurate scientific and regulatory documentation of all analytical work performed
- Contribute to maintaining a high-quality and inspection-ready laboratory environment
Your Profile: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Natural Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field
OR - Laboratory Technician qualification with 10+ years of advanced GMP experience
- 3-5 years of professional experience in analytical chemistry within the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong practical experience working in a cGMP-regulated environment
- Hands-on experience with laboratory software such as:
Waters Empower
Metrohm Tiamo
LabWare LIMS - Fluent English skills (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
